Iran: Expansion and Development of Oil and Gas Fields

Text of report by Iranian state-run provincial TV from Khuzestan on 19 July
A credit of 1350bn rials [about 135m dollars] has been allocated to Karoun Oil and Gas Company for the expansion and development of oil and gas fields and projects.
The managing director of Karoun Oil and Gas Company has said that this credit is 20 per cent more than last year. He added that this credit has been allocated for the execution of 59 development and improvement projects by Karoun Company.
Mr Mojtahedi said that some of these projects include expansion of oil and gas fields, expansion and improvement of desalination units, development projects which include construction of roads, providing electricity.
