ST. ANTHONY, N.L. (CP) - Transport Canada is investigating a possible security breach at the St. Anthony, N.L., airport.
Nav Canada employees reported that an unidentified vehicle was seen entering the airport's main apron on June 26. Transport Canada spokeswoman Tracy Hennessey says the employees also reported that a person boarded a Provincial Airlines flight with baggage that might not have been screened.
Hennessey says no harm arose out of the incident.
A spokesman for Provincial Airlines could not immediately be reached for comment.
Airlines that breach security regulations can be fined up to $100,000, while individuals face fines of up to $5,000.
