Jolie Confirms She's Expecting Twins

Posted on: Wednesday, 14 May 2008, 15:00 CDT

Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie has confirmed in an interview at the Cannes Film Festival in Frances she is pregnant with twins.

Rumors had been going around for weeks that Jolie and her partner, actor Brad Pitt, are expecting their fifth and sixth children. Jolie confirmed the speculation Wednesday in an interview with the Today show's Natalie Morales. The interview was to air Wednesday night on Access Hollywood and Thursday on Today.

Jolie and actor Jack Black are making the rounds promoting their new animated film, Kung Fu Panda, which is to premiere at the Cannes Film Festival.

In a side-by-side interview with Morales, Black joked with Jolie: You're gonna have as many as (the) 'Brady Bunch' when you have these.

That prompted Morales to ask, It's confirmed?

Yeah, yeah, we've confirmed that already, Jolie replied. Well, Jack's just confirmed it, actually.

Is that true? Black asked.

Yeah, you did, Jolie answered.

Sorry, Black said.
