Exent Technologies, a global market leader in broadband-based solutions for the monetization of PC and video games, has relocated its North-American headquarters from Bethesda, Md. to Downtown San Francisco. The headquarters oversees all of Exent's sales, marketing and business development activities in North America vis-à-vis its distribution, content and advertising partners as related to the company's AdMuse™ in-game advertising platform™ and its EXEtender™ digital game distribution platform. The headquarters is run by Alan Snodgrass, Exent's newly appointed president.
"Establishing a second release window for video games via broadband, through free and premium subscription offerings, requires the build-up of a well-balanced eco-system between game publishers, advertisers and distribution partners such as media companies, broadband service providers and consumer facing online destinations," said Zvi Levgoren, CEO, Exent Technologies. "San Francisco, being a major hub of technology, gaming and online advertising activities, was the natural choice for our new office."
AdMuse™, combined with EXEtender™, creates new revenue multiplying release windows for new and existing catalogs of games. Game publishers benefit by significantly offsetting development costs and increasing recurring revenue. Service providers who have already taken advantage of Exent's Games-on-Demand services can now offer ad-based subsidized games services to increase their reach and reduce churn.
Exent powers practically every major games-on-demand service on the market, including Turner (GameTap), Verizon, Comcast and Bell Canada.
Exent maintains technical operations and customer services from its Bethesda, Md. office.
