You may have already obtained numerous weapons through Forging and Wishing. If you’ve acquired better equipment than what you’re already using, you’ll be needing Weapon Enhancement Materials. This increases your weapons level and other attributes that make them more effective to use in combat.

To obtain these materials you need to:
- Visit a blacksmith.
- Press F to interact.
- Select “I’d like something made.“
- On the forge window, scroll down to and find the Weapon Enhancement Material you wish to forge.
- Look closely at the material you choose to forge and their required materials.
- Click Start to proceed with forging the chosen item.
- On the Forge Queues window you’ll see the items being forged and the time remaining to complete the process.
- Once completed, click Obtain.
- The item is now added in your bag / inventory.
- Click Confirm to complete the process.
It’s best to forge Weapon Enhancement Materials by using only the ores and avoid the recipe requiring you to use the Resin. Resins are valuable when you enter Domains found all over Teyvat. It’s best to save and use resins for Domain usage daily.

Gadget Types
Gadgets are items that can be crafted through Alchemy, Forging and Rewards from Quests, Events & Reputation system. Some of these gadgets are reusable and have a cooldown time after being used. Most of them can be equipped into the Quick-Use slot available for repeated use with ease.
Permanent
Obtained by all players as soon as they are able to fulfilling prerequisites such as completing quests or attaining certain reputation levels in major areas of the map.
