Hidden Quests of White Orchard in Witcher 3

Most of the time, we take quests in series. Every quest we complete leads to another. However, Witcher 3, like many other games, includes hidden quests that are only discovered by poking around. Here are a few of them that might interest you.

Missing in Action

1. Go to Ransacked Village.
2. Find and talk to Dune.
3. After your conversation, proceed to the battlefield marked on your map.
4. Once there, use your Witcher Sense to locate the body of Dune’s brother. Your marker is a Temerian shield with small white flowers. There are several of them but this one is what you are looking for.
5. After checking the body, the dog picks up a scent.
6. Follow the dog’s trail which will lead you to an abandoned hut.
7. You will then find Dune’s brother and a Nilfgaardian soldier.
8. What comes next is a matter of your judgement.

Dirty Funds

1. This quest starts by exploring this area.
2. Kill the dogs that surround the camp.
3. Open the chests to find the Scrawled Notes.
4. A location is provided just after reading it.
5. Proceed to this area, with a green marker on the map.
6. Just outside the tent are Deserters. Kill everyone in sight.
7. After taking care of the Deserters, get inside the tent and to your immediate right is the chest you are looking for.
8. Open the chest to complete the quest.

Deserters Gold

1. This quest is linked to the Dirty Funds. Visit this part of the forest.
2. Check on the camp to find the Spy’s notes inside a chest.
3. Read the note to locate the remaining Deserters.
4. Proceed to the house near the windmill.
5. Kill every Deserter you find.
6. After disposing them off, enter the house.
7. To your immediate right is a hole on the floor.
8. Climb down to find a path leading to a door.
9. Knock the door using Ard.
10. You open the chests, except for one that is locked. That chest is part of the Temerian Valuables.

Temerian Valuables

1. You found a locked chest underneath a house near the windmill.
2. Search for its key on a nearby bridge.
3. You’ll find a dead body close to the bridge that where you will obtain the Temerian Lily key.
4. Take a quick dip and locate a locked chest on the river, opposite to the body you found earlier. Your recently found key will unlock it and take everything inside the chest.
5. In your possession is the Blook-soaked Military Orders journal. Read it to learn of its contents.
6. You are now able to find and unlock quests pertaining to the Temerian Valuables.
7. You will now return to the house by the mill, to search for the locked chest you found earlier.
8. Use the Temerian Lily Key to open it and complete the quest.
