The Bloody Baron

  1. Proceed to this area in the map.
  2. How you will be received depends on how you dealt with the Baron’s men at the Inn by the Crossroads.
  3. We took the bloody path and so were denied entry into the Baron’s Castle. If we took the diplomatic approach, we would’ve been received with festivities.
  4. Moving on, we talk to this old man just as we are about to remove ourselves from the Baron’s Castle.
  5. The old man points us to a different part of the castle where we may enter instead.
  6. Proceed to the marked area and dive down the river.
  7. Go through the cave until you find the ladder leading up the well and towards the Baron’s courtyard.
  8. And now you get a piece from the Baron.

This cutscene includes your query about Ciri, and a gameplay with her starts just as you finish conversing with the Baron. He also recounts how Ciri saved a man and a little girl named Gretka from a pack of wolves and a werewolf. But off with it and on with the Baron.
